These past few weeks have been busy with exam week, multicultural week and then a one day holiday coming up...these kids never stop!
Our kids have been super busy in the art room too!
Art Club has been very active this semester. We have done various projects with paint water balloons being the most recent. We filled up the water balloons with paint, and then threw them at a bunch of papers laid out to make a big canvas. We had such fun both filling the paint balloons and throwing them at the canvas!
Grade five have been making underwater creatures for the past couple weeks. It has been slow because of exams but we're moving right along! They used cardboard for the base and then covered everything with paper mâché. It took ages! Finally, they painted it the colour of their underwater creature and we hung gem outside in the hallway.
Grade four had a choose art day and some of the boys chose to make a 'tile land'! It has roads, bridges, and even little homes. Super cool and super creative.
