Grade three this past week have been talking about their memories and looking at the artist and storyteller Faith Ringgold. Students thought about their favourite memory and drew it, then traced with permanent marker. Finally, students experimented with watercolour paints to bring their drawing to life!!! We also talked about patterns for the border of our quilt. So far, they have really enjoyed it!!!
This week in ECA students started to make their books on my iPad! Students were extremely excited to get started working on making their book and especially excited to use the iPad. We used the application called 'My Story'. Students can upload their own artwork, write their own story and even record their own voice reading their story!!!
